T-Series bags PNC film’s music rights

The expectation from the sequel is higher; Pritam and PNC will go beyond expectations

The audio and music rights for Pritish Nandy's Shaadi Ke Side Effects, has been bagged by music company, T-Series. Pritam Chakroborty, who was the composer for Pyaar Ke Side Effects, will be composing for the sequel as well. Says Bhushan Kumar, T-Series, "The music of the first film was well received and the songs were tremendously successful. The expectation from the sequel is higher and Pritam and PNC will not disappoint; in fact they'll go beyond expectations. This film album is surely going to be on top of the charts." The film, to be directed again by Saket Chaudhary, features Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar in leading roles.

Mika scores at four

Mika, who will soon be seen acting in a comedy film called Balvinder Singh...Famous Ho Gaya, recently told Screen that he prefers to do only three to four songs a year. The reason being that Mika wants to give his best to the handful of songs that he chooses to do in a year. This, perhaps, could be the reason why all his songs end up being chartbusters. For instance, Kahaan chal di (Agent Vinod), Chinta ta chita (Rowdy Rathore) and recently, Long drive (Khiladi 786) have topped the charts this year.
