Tur dal and urad dal prices move up

Tur and urad dal rose to Rs 5,700 and Rs 6,200 from Friday's rate.

Prices of tur dal and urad dal moved up,while those of other commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market on Saturday.

Tur dal added Rs 100 and urad dal rose by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 5,700 and Rs 6,200 from Friday’s rate of Rs 5,600 and Rs 6,000,respectively.

The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities on Saturday (in rupees per quintal,except where stated otherwise): Tur dal Rs 5,700,Urad dal Rs 6,200,Moong dal Rs 6,200,Gram dal Rs 3,700,Sugar Rs 2,850,Wheat Rs 1,750,Maida (90kg) Rs 1,750 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,850.
