Camera is neutral and cannot be the oxygen on which any movement can sustain, said Rajdeep Sardesai, editor-in-chief of CNN IBN, referring to the Lokpal movement on Saturday. Sardesai was addressing the fifth edition of the Prakash Kardaley Memorial Lecture at Natu Hall on Senapati Bapat Road. Speaking on the "Media and Anti-Corruption Movements,' he said, "The Lokpal movement was one of the most perfectly choreographed television movements. But the success of an anti-corruption movement is not the number of times it makes headlines but is built on moral power of people (behind the movement)."
