Twilight: Breaking Dawn split into two films

Summit Entertainment said that Breaking Dawn will be released as two films,with the first released by 2011 end.

it is official. The ‘Twilight’ fans will have an extended date with Edward Cullen and Bella Swan as the studio has decided to split the final film into two parts.

Summit Entertainment announced on Thursday that ‘Breaking Dawn’ would be released as two movies,with the first set to open on the previously announced date of November 18,2011. They,however,didn’t disclose the second date.

Bill Condon is set to direct ‘Breaking Dawn’,the final book in author Stephenie Meyer’s four-book vampire series. It was widely expected that Summit would split Breaking Dawn,the last chapter in the vampire love story saga.

Summit gave no other details in the announcement other than disclosing that production on the films will start in the fall.

On Friday,reports also saw Twilight star Robert Pattinson speculating,that the last Twilight film could be a “hardcore adult” film because of its sex scenes. The actor who plays the lead role of Edward Cullen had admitted curiousity over how the sex scenes with Kristen Stewart would work out in the final series.

He said,”I think it will be interesting. I’m curious to see what it’ll look like. We don’t procrastinate any longer….I haven’t read the script yet but I’m sure it’ll be good.”
