The social security cell of Pune police crime branch has arrested a former call centre girl and her agent for allegedly operating a sex racket through Escort Services advertisement in newspapers.

The suspects have been identified as Ragini M (30) of Wanavdi and Kapil Mahale (25) of Wadgaon Budruk. Police inspector Rajendra Bhamre of social security cell said the suspects were carrying out flesh trade in the name of Sisilya Escorts.

“Mahale had given an advertisement of Sisiliya Escorts in an English newspaper asking the people to call on a mobile number for high profile female models, airhostess for full body service available 24 hours all over Pune,” he said.

“The police called on this number through a decoy and confirmed that the escort service was nothing but flesh trade. The police then placed an order for a woman through the decoy.

The agent Mahale asked the decoy to come with money neat Reliance Mart in Fatima Nagar around 7.30 pm on Thursday. Police laid a trap and nabbed Mahale along with Ragini at the spot,” he said.

During sustained interrogation, Mahale told the police that many male customers were contacting him after reading the newspaper advertisement.

He said that some women like Ragini also contacted him saying that they were ready to serve his customers.

He then arranged meetings of his customers with these women. He used to give some part of the money gained from customers to the women.
