Two killed in house collapse in J&K

Two persons were killed when their mud house collapsed due to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir.

Two persons,including a minor girl,were killed when their mud house collapsed due to heavy rains in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir last night,a police spokesman said on Wednesday.

Abdul Majid Bijran (33) and his four-year-old daughter Hamida died when their ‘Kotha’ (mud house) collapsed at Khati Dook,45 kms from here,the spokesman said.

Bodies of both the deceased were recovered from the debris.

The upper reaches of Kashmir valley experienced unseasonal snowfall,while the plains were lashed by torrential rains since past several days.
