    The latest tiff between the Defence Ministry and Army is over the post of an official spokesperson. All candidates recommended by the ministry for the post have been promptly posted out by the Army. On the other hand, officers suggested by the Army have been rejected by the ministry. With the last spokesperson transferred out two days before the Purohit case hit the headlines, the Army is now without a spokesperson.
