The United Nations General Secretary condemned the Lahore terror attack.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has condemned Monday's terror attack on a police academy in Lahore.

"He extends his sympathies to the families of those killed and to the injured," Ban's spokesperson Michele Montas said.

The UN chief also hoped that Pakistani authorities will determine who was behind the deadly attack.

At least nine people were killed and several others injured when gunmen attack the police academy.
