He concludes the chapter on J&K with the following remarks: “Whether during the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits, the attacks on Raghunath Temple and Vaishno Devi pilgrims or during the recent agitation, Jammu has shown a pluralistic ethos while Kashmiriyat has got so badly eclipsed in Kashmir. The war on Kashmiriyat can be won only when this unique heritage gets fully restored in all regions of the state.”
