Veeam said Kryptos would offer the full range of its solutions for virtual infrastructure management and data protection, storage and security, providing resellers with technical support, training and bundles to help grow their virtualisation business.
The partnership marks a significant step in Veeam Software's expansion into India following year on year growth of 67 per cent across Asia Pacific, the company said in a statement.
Veeam's cloud services business has seen a particularly positive uptake this year, having grown 58 per cent in the last quarter alone.
"Kryptos has a solid understanding of the cloud market and our solutions, having been a large player for over a decade," Veeam Regional Director Don Williams said.
"Cloud services have been a major growth area for us this year and this new agreement will allow us to help more customers realise the full potential of virtualisation.
"Partnering with Veeam gives us a great opportunity to offer a best in class virtualised backup and replication solution to our cloud partners," Kryptos Chief Executive Prasanna Ram said.
"Virtualisation adoption is on the rise in India and our goal is to help our partners maximise sales opportunities and margins in this booming market," he added.
Globally, Veeam has focused on nurturing and developing the channel, expanding its reseller support teams by over 138 per cent and increasing its number of partners from 400 to 700 in 2012.
Veeam said it would be looking to further develop its partner ecosystem, with a particular focus cloud models in Asia.
