Use media to talk about growth,CM tells party

BJP’s Gujarat president R C Faldu gave the inaugural address at the workshop. Rajya Sabha member and BJP national vice-president Smriti Irani shared the power of electronic media with the participants while management expert Harshad Brahmbhatt threw light on the role of a spokesperson in publicity matters. Maulik Bhagat,another expert,held forth on the ways to use social media.

National party spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman laid stress on the role of media in spreading the party ideology. A debate was also conducted by forming six groups at the workshop,said the release. Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley in his concluding remarks said that at the time when the next Lok Sabha election was going to result in an unprecedented victory for the BJP,it was necessary that party spokesmen should play an effective role in exposing “failures” of the UPA government on internal security,corruption,poor leadership and bad governance.
