Uttam Galva Q1 net down 69pc

Company's net profit at Rs 9 cr compared to Rs 29.44 cr previous year.

Uttam Galva Steels on Saturday clocked 69 per cent dip in Q1 FY’12 net profit at Rs 9 crore compared to Rs 29.44 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

Net sales of the company,however,rose to Rs 1533.21 crore from 1063 crore in the April-June period of the last fiscal,it said in a statement.
