Veer Patel is new MRF supercross champion

Veer Patel won MRF National Supercross Championship in the sixth and final round to become the new champion.

Veer Patel won MRF National Supercross Championship in the sixth and final round to become the new champion. The competition was held at the Shahu College Ground on Saturday.

The previous five rounds were held in Goa,Hyderabad,Coimbatore,Jaipur and Bangalore. The competitors needed to score points consistently,which would be considered to declare the winner on the basis of the overall performance. The most prestigious race of the day,the ‘Foreign Open Class’,saw Santosh C S take the holeshot in the Moto and remain unbeaten in a tight race with Veer Patel and Aravind K P Santosh won both races of the Foreign Open.

The champions were crowned in various four classes: Class 1 – Veer Patel 203 Points; Class 2 – R. Natraj 105 Points; Class 3 – Aravind K.P 110 Points.
