The third dimension
India is getting its first 3D digital animation feature film this summer—Bal Hanuman 2—which will explore the childhood antics of Lord Hanuman. The film,we hear,is packed with information as well as action and adventure. It’ll be produced and directed by Pankaj Sharma. We hope Hanuman will have enough demons to slay and evil to conquer to do justice to the 3D effects.

Film extravaganza
The 11th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) is to be held at the Exotic Emerald Island of Sri Lanka in June. Says brand ambassador of IIFA,Amitabh Bachchan,“I look forward to another luminous decade,as IIFA journeys forth, sharing the Indian cinematic movement with the world.” He could have just said,“I look forward to the beaches, the lagoons and the water sports available at Emerald Island.”

No more sagas
Ashutosh Gowarikar is preparing to release his next,Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey,this December. He claims that the film—based on the Chittagong uprising and starring Abhishek Bachchan in lead—is no longer than two hours. We hope so because no one will pay for tickets to fall asleep in the hall.
