  • Party pooper SRK
He’s called King Khan but we’ve heard that Shah Rukh Khan is not quite the king when it comes to hosting the press at his house. On his 44th birthday, he served up some cold vegetable spring rolls and poha to the journalists he had invited over to celebrate. No cake was in sight, other than the ones brought in by the guests themselves. This is also not the first time; there have been times when people have spent three hours in the heat waiting for him and all they were offered was an oily vada pav from a nearby stall. We love you, SRK, and know that meeting you in person can completely satiate anybody’s appetite, but a little hospitality wouldn’t hurt, no?

    The invisible man
Viviek Oberoi, who nearly vanished from the screen as well as people’s memories after his last debacle Mission Istanbul, is working hard towards making a comeback. On the sets of his next solo hero film, Rajkumar Taurani’s Prince — It’s Showtime, the actor apparently spent days together on the sets with minimum sleep. Often, VO chose to stay back in his vanity van after a night shoot instead of going home in the wee hours to return next afternoon. Incidentally, the Kurbaan crew too has good things to say about the actor. Then why is he invisible in the film promos?

    Guess who?
RAM Gopal Varma is all set to surprise us with his next political thriller Raktacharitra. No, by surprise, we don’t mean the kind we got at the end of his last supernatural thriller Agyaat. But this one’s a real biggie. He has roped in veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha to essay the character of the legendary superstar and politician NT Rama Rao. And Sinha, to add to the effect, has gone ahead and shaved his moustache for this one.
