He’s called King Khan but we’ve heard that Shah Rukh Khan is not quite the king when it comes to hosting the press at his house. On his 44th birthday, he served up some cold vegetable spring rolls and poha to the journalists he had invited over to celebrate. No cake was in sight, other than the ones brought in by the guests themselves. This is also not the first time; there have been times when people have spent three hours in the heat waiting for him and all they were offered was an oily vada pav from a nearby stall.
