A polo car was snatched at gunpoint from a veterinary doctor, Bhupinder Singh, 45, at gunpoint near Westend Mall on Ferozepur road on Monday night.
The Sarabha Nagar police registered a case against unidentified accused and initiated an investigation. Reportedly, the accused were in another car and fled towards Jagraon.
Singh, deputed at Government Veterinary Hospital, Khandoor, was returning after attending a seminar on Ferozepur road.
"Returning from the seminar, I stopped at Westend Mall to buy some eatables. Three miscreants alighted from an i-20 car and pointed a pistol. The miscreants pulled me out of the car and threatened me," said Singh.
Inspector Mandeep Singh, SHO, Sarabha Nagar police station, said the police had initiated investigations.
