VHP continues to bat for Narendra Modi

Continuing to back Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as a prime ministerial candidate,Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal Sunday said there was lot of support for him in the country.

“Modi is the hero of the Hindus. That’s why his name is being taken by the Hindus. What’s wrong in him leading the country?” Singhal asked while talking to reporters here.

On who should be BJP’s PM candidate,Singhal said it was for the party to decide on their candidate. But,he said people in the country support Modi and everywhere they are talking about Modi leading the country.
