Ahmedabad, September 26: : Buyoed by the Nanavati Commission giving his Government a clean chit in handling of post-Godhra riots, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi sought an "apology" from those who "have spreading lies" on the issue.

"If the people, who have been spreading lies, believe in the Constitution and the Supreme Court, they should apologise to the people of Gujarat", Modi said while reacting to the Nanavati Commission report on Gohdra train carnage describing it as a "pre-planned conspiracy".

Double standards of politicians by Deep on 2008-09-26 18:12:46.205099+05:30
It is very disgustingto see the statements of some of our politicians. For example: Lalu yadav calls simi a non-terrorist organisation but directly or indirectly seeks ban on bajrang dal. He condemns attacks on christians and does not open his mouth to condemns serial blasts in India. He says Godhra train fire was an accident and the post godhra riots a shame on India. Mulayam Singh, CPIM are never so strong in condemning terrorism but do not loose an opportunity to condemn Hindus.Every sensible and educated person in India knows that the fire in Train was an attack carried out by miscreants. The post godhra riots need to be condemned but one should not play politics with the same.
Why secularism and terrorism in India? by Bharat on 2008-09-26 17:08:51.901202+05:30
The secularism and terrorism are political tools being used by politicians and anti-India forces to destabilize and weaken India. India taught the world the concept of 'Dharma' and how can India be attacked in such a manner. Unless, Indians do 'self realization' and determine their identity, they can not elect a government that looks after them. The Indira Congress no longer exists today and people must not continue to be befooled any further. All Hindus should come together to remake and claim their nation if India is to be believed to be a free country. If you do away with secularism, you will do away with terrorism and Indians will be free again to progress towards the eternal 'Dharma'.
APOLOGY by INDIANMUJAHID on 2008-09-26 15:51:39.347964+05:30

Nanavathi by Kannan on 2008-09-26 13:45:00.967065+05:30
I believe only Sonia, Paswan, Lalu and Mulayam, Oscar Fernandez and Sivraj Patil. These are the secular people working to protect Indians. Did Justice Nanavathi prove his secular credentials before he got the job? How can I trust Modi and the Hindu Guju bhais who voted him to power?

You idiot!

Rumour mongers/Pseudo Secularist by Varind on 2008-09-26 12:41:59.509948+05:30
How Modi can expect apologise from Pseudo Secularists and supporters of terrorists/extremist. Their Conscience is for Vote bank politics.
Secular forces never apologise, tomorrow he will ask apolgy for lifting ban on SIMI by L Parshad on 2008-09-26 12:11:07.917887+05:30
It is shameful to ask apology from secular forces. Anyone who asks this is offending the secular fabric of Indian polity and secularism of Indian constitution. Tomorrow these regressib forces will also ask for apology for lifting ban on SIMI and IM. Indian constitution provides all protection to minorities, and there is no question of apology for favouring minorities because they have first right to all resources in India. In any case the British took India from the rule of minority community so logically all India belongs to them and they can do anything since they were the rulers. Modi ji must study history, otherwise we can send them the Vamponthi and RJD and SP and DMK and Pakistani and Bongladesi textbooks.
Victory over black shadows by Sadanand S Kulkarni on 2008-09-26 11:58:24.807442+05:30
Here is the truth and everybody who is responsible to convye wrong message against Gujrat and Honourable Narendrabhai, has to apologise to them. This is the victory of a Fighter called Narendrabhai who is certainly a great human bieng. In reality, this is a non required certificate of Narendrabhai to those who blame him on every issue regarding his perspective and always relate it against a perticularcommunity. He has done what a responsible citizen has to.
Truth revealed must be accepted by Sampath on 2008-09-26 11:35:58.893356+05:30
Let us hope all the newspapers which knowing suppressed facts, will now publish what was cut out from reports filed by neutral newsmen; they claim to be champions of truth and custodians of democracy. They must accept our national slogan "Satyameva jayate"
