Director Vikram Bhatt, famous for his horror films, is ready to try out something different this year. The Raaz 3 team of Vikram Bhatt-Bipasha Basu will be seen together for a venture which is said to be India's first 'creature' film, titled Creature! . Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series confirms, "Creature! belongs to a different genre and will be the first of its kind to be made in India. We are planning to release it in 3D Imax, so it is going to be really big. To be made on the lines of Predator and Jurassic Park, we are working hard on developing the creature for the film."
The highlight, according to the producer, is the creature and a technical team from Chennai is working on developing the concept. Since the team has also worked on international projects, the production values will be excellent. Currently, Bhushan is busy finalising the budget and other details. He admits, "Creature! will be a big-budget film. The production values will be on par with international standards. We plan to start shooting by May end."
While, Bipasha is the only actor who has been confirmed for the film, the other star cast will be finalised soon.
Bejoy Nambiar's Pizza to go on floors in April
Director Bejoy Nambiar's Pizza, a remake of a Tamil hit thriller by the same name, will go on floors in April. Bejoy, who has purchased the rights of the Tamil film, said, "I am planning to start shooting for Pizza in April. However, the film is still in the planning stage and we are yet to decide the star cast." The Tamil version of Pizza which was directed by Kartik Subbaraj, revolves around a pizza delivery boy and how his life changes after making a particular delivery. Reports are that Bejoy is planning to rope in Karthik to direct the Hindi version which is to be produced by his banner Getaway Films.
