Sri Lankan rapper Maya Arulpragasam, better known by the moniker M.I.A,has stirred controversy with her new video which has been banned by Youtube for it’s violent content.

The singer who performed at last year’s Grammies just days prior to giving birth to her son,was mad after learning that her new video for the single ‘Born Free’ is banned from the website.

Directed by Romain Gavras, the video follows a group of US soldiers who invade a town and hunt down readheads to be massacred in the desert.
