Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ score is rocking

While Sukhwinder is able to do full justice to the rhythmic flow of the song with his voice,Dadlani brings in it the aggressive element.

And added to these is the the rock and roll touch which makes the song a runaway hit.

Mohit Chouhan has become a sought-after singer these days. Be it ‘Tum se hi’ (Jab We Met) or ‘Masakali’ (Delhi 6),the Silk Route lead man has not let his composers down.

The melodious and romantic ‘Pehli baar mohabbat’ is almost sung to perfection by Mohit,making it a great listen.

‘Raat ke dhai baje’ is another rollicking situational number. Vishal has a come up with a great combination for the song — Suresh Wadekar and Sunidhi Chauhan along with Rekha Bhardwaj and Kunal Ganjawala. A rustic feel to the song makes it more hummable.

Vishal himself sings the slow and mellow title track ‘Kaminey’. There are two remixes — ‘Dhan te nan’ and ‘Raat ke dhai baje’. And then there is two-minute instrumental piece ‘Go Charlie’.

In “Kaminey”,Vishal conjures almost magic and comes up with a laudable effort. The album is really worth buying.
