VLCC launches anti-obesity drive

    VLCC today launched a month-long anti-obesity drive on the occasion of World Obesity Day. Archana Garg, president of the District Red Cross Society, was the chief guest .

    While launching AOD Booklet at Sarabha Nagar Centre today, she said, “Parents need to be more responsible abnout the diet of their childrena nd should avoid giving junk food to children.”

    While the experts present on this occasion said that obesity is unseen tension which closes all doors for a long and healthy life. He advised that one should follow 25-25 and 50 rule in which 25% comprises complex carbohydrates, whole grains, beans fibrous vegetables, 25% protein and 50% of vegetables and fruits coupled with physical activity provide a solution for the healthy life style.

    Ashwinder, Centre Head speaking on the occasion said that Discipline is other world for weight loss. We can win this fight against obesity, if we change our perspective about food, coupled with strong will, nothing is impossible.

    All present on the occasion, took pledge to fight for obesity and Signature Campaign started by the Chief Guest and followed by other guest present Dr. Sandeep Puri, Dr. Suman Puri, Dr. Iqbal, Dr. Manpreet, Dr. N.K. Aggarwal, Dr. Rama Sofat, Dr. Pankaj and all clients.
