Here's a look at the latest song from Yash Raj Film's Shuddh Desi Romance titled Gulabi,which is all about love and the colour of love. In a special event on August 1,the filmmakers launched the new song Gulabi from the film. Set in the Pink city of India,Jaipur,the song is all about the blossoming love between the film's lead actors Kai Po Che's Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Vaani Kapoor. The song has also used the Rajasthani linguistics to enhance the song experience which is heightened by the scintillating beats of the music. The music of the film is given by composers Sachin Sanghvi,Jigar Saraiya aka Sachin-Jigar,who have made their mark with films like ABCD: Any Body Can Dance,Go Goa Gone and Himmatwala (2013). Gulabi is sung by Jigar Saraiya of Slowly Slowly (Go Goa Gone) fame and Priya Saraiya. The song has Sushant and Vaani getting intimate during their visits to the historic Hawa Mahal and Amer Forts. There were reports that things went wrong between Sushant and his girlfriend - television actress Ankita Lokhande after the scene. But Sushant denies them,saying,"There were no issues about it (kissing). She (Ankita) is quite supportive,she knows its part of my job,she is an actor too," Sushant said. Going by the theme of the song,the two actors were dressed in pink at the event and the set was decorated with pink frills. Watch the song here:
