"We want to win the series, have to win four matches. That is the most important thing. We want to make it 4-0 first before thinking of anything else," he said.
Losing captain Kevin Pietersen lamented that his top-order batsmen have failed to fire in the series so far. "We are getting better and better. The bowlers did a good job, they showed aggression. Today's match was the closest fight and we hope we would do better in the next match. We have four matches to go," he said.
"Our top batsmen have not scored a single hundred so far, it is disappointing. We have to score hundreds, not one or two but more than that if we have to win all the remaining four matches," he added.
Asked about the fading light leading to India winning the match under Duckworth/Lewis method, Pietersen showed the straight bat.
"It was unfortunate that the match was decided by D/L method, but it happens. Umpires have to make decisions," said Pietersen.
