Zardari stated this during a meeting with US Ambassador to Islamabad, Anne Patterson.

President Asif Ali Zardari said on Friday that Pakistan has demonstrated its sincerity in cooperating with India by making public the findings of its probe into the Mumbai attacks, a day after Islamabad admitted that the terror strikes were "partly" plotted in this country.

Zardari stated this during a meeting with US Ambassador to Islamabad, Anne Patterson, Dawn News channel reported. It quoted him as saying during the meeting that Pakistan has shown its commitment and sincerity to cooperate by making public the findings of its probe into the dossier provided by India.

Zardari discussed with Patterson the regional situation and Pakistan's ties with the US, the channel said.

In the face of evidence provided by India, Islamabad also acknowledged a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) link to the Mumbai attacks that began on November 26 and claimed the lives of 183 persons, after a series of flip-flops on the credibility of the Indian dossier and initial denials of a Pakistani hand.

Pak's US dictated policyBy: romesh.sharma | 15-Feb-2009 Reply | Forward There in this socalled probe by Pakistan is not an iota of sincerity or cooperation.Thgis all is being said only under extreme pressure from the US who wants to cut financial aid and dictates how to move further to staisfy India and that is for their own strategical interests.Pakistan has not admitted to anything or feel responsible to act against those who attacked and those who planned, trained and financed the Mumbai attacks. They don't even call Mumbai attacks but conspiracy. The world community doesn't want demonstrations but real and authentic actions.Making public in colourful language is of no help or favour to India's demand. This is to show and convince the world about good intentions and actions which is not true. This sounds US dictated intrigue through which US can widen its own interests and meddle in Indian internal affairs as well. Its slow and steady move aimed to interfere in Kashmir conflict/mediation.India shouldn't trust even one word what is coming from Pakistan.
Sincere Paki, a rare commodityBy: Hero Vaz | 14-Feb-2009 Reply | Forward The 'attack' of sincerity was brought on, not because of innate honesty which the Pakis lack, but because of arm-twisting by the US.
President Obama and his administartion must be thanked by all Indians, for bringing out the truth.By: gary | 14-Feb-2009 Reply | Forward Indians are thankful to president Obama and all US leadership for bringing out the partial truth from pakistani leaders who were all set to denial mode and were trying to deflect world attention from carnage in mumbai. The two democracies of world are coming together and it is a good luck sign for the world as terrorists will be defeated by good people coming together. Once again, thanks to all americans for their total support.
Grateful IndiaBy: john jacobs | 14-Feb-2009 Reply | Forward That is precisely the state of mind India should dread. India overflowing with gratitude would now be expected to accept American mediation in the Kashmir issue which no doubt they would help settle by pleasing their client's lust for J
We got publicity, will sack minister admitting partial facts , but we won't punish non state actors?By: gary | 14-Feb-2009 Reply | Forward Pakistan was able to deflect world attention from Terror originating from with in pakistan. Pakistani leaders think that mere partial admission was expected from them and thatthey have been successful in protecting Non state actors like Musharaf was able to save Khan from Punishment. Same old delaying tactics by pak are to be used again and nothing will come out? pakistan knows well how to confuse the situation and keep supporting non state actors for financial gains?
Pakistan's sincerity...my foot!By: SK | 13-Feb-2009 Reply | Forward Mr. Zardari you are as usal half right and half wrong. You need to remember that behind every Pakistan's sincerity each time US and others had to twist your arms. This is known to the entire world so don't even try to take any credit for it !
