Baba Banda Singh Bahadur International Manch today launched a website on the 223rd martyrdom day of the great warrior. The website was launched by the President of the society,Krishan Kumar Bawa.
Briefing mediapersons about the website,Bawa said it was a humble tribute to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur who made the supreme sacrifice while fighting against the brutality of Mughal emperors and their tyranny.
They said in seven years,Baba Banda Bahadur demolished the Mughal empire and set up the first Sikh state. Banda Bahadur also took the revenge of the death of the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh, he said.
Bawa and Jassowal said the website was also a tribute to those 740 Sikh martyrs who laid down their lives fighting along with Banda Singh Bahadur. They said their motive was to tell the history to the present generation.
They further said the NGO was constructing the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Bhawan at Rakba village in the Ludhiana district.
