Rajnath Singh said UPA Government lacks strong will to counter challenges posed by terrorists.

He said the UPA government is not only allowing terrorists to thrive in the country but is also practicing “cultural terrorism”.

“It is shocking to see the government has grossly misinterpreted the Kamban Ramayana and told the Supreme Court that Lord Rama himself had destroyed the Ram Sethu hence it cannot be worshiped,” Singh said.

“This is not the first time that the UPA government has insulted people’s belief. Earlier, it had said before the court that Lord Rama was a fictitious character,” he added.

“We condemn such submission made by the UPA government in the court. They are playing with the religious sentiments of more than a billion people,” he said.

Regarding current economic scenario in the country, Rajnath said, “The UPA in its 42 months rule has pushed the country towards ‘stagflation’. Stagflation means stagnation of growth and increase in inflation. We will revive the sagging Indian economy”.

“When the UPA government is committing blunders on economic front, BJP led government in various states are scripting new success stories by creating an atmosphere conducive for investment,” Rajnath said.

“The success of Narendra Modi led BJP government in bringing Nano Car Project from West Bengal to Gujarat is a shining example to prove this point,” he added.

POTABy: Nagarajan | 17-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward During Emergency when Indira Gandhi introduced Maintenance of Internal Secutiry Act (MISA) the late Piloo Mody dubed it as Maitenance of Indira and Sanjay Act (MISA). When BJP introduced POTA, it was selectively used against particular community and acts of Togadia's were left untouched and in fact it went on to become Ptotection of Togadias Act (POTA). Now BJP leader says they will act more stringent law than POTA, will it be called POTATO to protect the acts of Toagadias and Thackerays.

Just BashanBy: Bijan Daruwala | 17-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward At 80 the only dream of Advani is to become the PM. What great changes can an old man one step in the grave do except give 'bashan' and bash Christians.
Just Law will not do AdvaniBy: Munnabhai | 17-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward BJP is fooling the people by saying that it will bring in new legislation to curb terrorists. If Law and Acts of Parliament were the only criteria there would not be any crime. Death sentence is there as per Law but has it prevented criminals from committing murder or rape.
Neighborhood LawsBy: MVC | 17-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward Hindraf banned in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Oct. 16: Malaysia has banned the non-governmental rights group Hindraf accusing it of exploiting racial issues and threatening national security, a move denounced as “ridiculous” by the Opposition and ethnic Indian bodies which vowed to continue their “struggle” for equal rights for the community. Home minister Syed Hamid Albar, in a statement issued on Wednesday night, declared the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) — whose five leaders are under detention as part of the draconian Internal Security Act — an illegal organisation.India should follow Malaysian foot steps and BAN all Muslim outfits such as SIMI
Traitors withinBy: GirishSingh | 17-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward I fully agree with you but the problem is that with so many traitors in the form of vote-hungry politicians and people like Arundhati Roy and Teesta Setalvad,WHO JUST WANT TO GET FAME, MONEY AND POWER AT ANY COST, the country is increasingly becoming reluctant to defend itself from nefarious activities of muslim fundamentalists.
