When Sonakshi Sinha angered Pakistan

The India vs Pakistan clash,which was a high emotion rollercoaster has had some upsetting consequences for the one-film-old Sonakshi Sinha. The ‘Dabangg’ actress had to apologise to all her fans in Pakistan and swore not to make any comments on Twitter for the India vs Sri Lanka final. Why? Read on to find out!

After India’s historic win against its cricket rival,many Indian fans had gone ballastic with their celebrations,going ahead to make jokes and SMSes making fun of Pakistan’s performance. One such fan was Sonakshi,who decided to join the fun in her own way. She went on to post a morphed picture of Shahid Afridi getting wacked by an Indian batsman on popular networking site Twitter,

However,little did the actress know that this would anger her Pakistani fans. Many of them didn’t find her act amusing and were upset with her for posting the picture. A few irate fans even began to un-follow the actress on Twitter. The actress later said that it was just a joke and not meant to hurt anyone. She tweeted,”Pak fans v upset. Jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! I’m all for love thy neighbour. Be a sport yaar.”

The actress however learned her lesson well. Just before the India vs Sri Lanka final,she went on to put up a disclaimer on Twitter. She tweeted,”No jokes today. Too many people here without a sense of humour. Boo.”
