Watigam’s 36-hour wait ended on Monday as an ambulance finally made its way to the remote village, 112 km from Srinagar, carrying the body of Mohammad Qasim Parray who died in the Delhi serial blasts. The village was once the hotbed of militancy, and Qasim went to the Capital to escape the violence and find work. With death finding him there, his 70-year-old mother Rehamti asked this on seeing his body.
