Promising a new era of development in J-K,Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that his government work round-the-clock for public welfare.

Promising a new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir,Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that his government work round-the-clock for public welfare.

“I will work round-the-clock to seek your welfare and come up to the trust you have reposed in me and my government,” Omar said addressing a public meeting at Mamoosa in Pattan,27 kms from Srinagar,on Thursday.

“The administration has been sensitised at all levels to be responsive and be at the beck and call of the people,” the chief minister said.

He said directions have been passed on to the administration to spend every penny of the Rs 5500 crore annual plan judiciously and to the fullest benefit of the people.

Omar said he will monitor the development projects to ensure that the administration delivers on the ground.

Abdullah said the present age is the age of youth and his government has formulated a blue print for the wide-ranging development of youth.

“I want to see youth progressing and prospering not only in academic fields but in skill development,employability,sports,games and other activities. My vision for my youth is a bright progressive and economically sound future. My every effort will be to realize this goal,” he said.
