NEW DELHI: : At 2 am on Tuesday, a police team reached the burns ward of the Safdarjung Hospital here with a suspect. However, Rana Shaukat Ali, who had earlier claimed that he had seen the bombers disembarking, denied that the person presented before him was one of those. Later, the police released sketches of the suspects based on descriptions provided by the 46-year-old. “My brother has been saying that he saw two people in the train looking uneasy with some stuff in their hand which they placed underneath the berth of a security personnel. He says as soon as the security personnel asked them to sit properly they disembarked,” said Rana’s brother Jannat Ali. In the fateful journey, Rana lost five of his six children. His wife Ruksana and one-year-old daughter Aksa survived the fire.
