Woman,2 children found dead,husband under lens

A mother of two reportedly hanged herself after strangulating her children to death at her apartment in Vejalpur in Ahmedabad in early hours on Friday. The deceased was identified as: Sonal Dinesh Churasia. The police said while Sonal was found hanging on the fan,her children Samrrudhi (4) and Shukan (1) were found dead on the bed. They said Sonal’s husband Dinesh came home in the morning and raised an alarm. Sonal’s father Keshav Dantani has lodged a complaint against Dinesh,accusing him of domestic violence and harassment. Dinesh is an embroidery worker and was helped in work by his wife. Inspector JH Jhalu said primary investigation showed Sonal strangulated her children using a pillow. “We have allowed the husband to finish last rites. He would be questioned tomorrow,” he said. The police said samples have been sent to the FSL for detailed probe.
