Around 2 am on Tuesday, Umbradevi and her brother were woken up by repeatedly knocks on their door. They heard male voices asking to open the door as they wanted to "buy some medicines" from their store.

When they didn't respond, the suspects tried to forcibly open the door. The two kept the door pressed from inside but the culprits managed to barge into the house.
