Woman commits suicide

A 29-year-old woman committed suicide on Monday afternoon by consuming some poisonous substance in Sector 18. Manju Devi worked as a domestic help and her husband worked in Sector 17,the police said. She allegedly consumed some poisonous substance and died soon after. The woman was allegedly depressed as she did not have a child. The police have initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
