A 26-year-old woman,Rubi,died of snakebite in Laxminagar locality,Ambala Cantonment,on Monday night. She was taken to the Civil Hospital,Ambala Cantt,in serious condition. From there,she was referred to the Trauma Centre,Civil Hospital,Ambala City. She died on way to the hospital. Her husband Mukesh alleged that had the doctors at the Ambala Cantt hospital attended to her,his wife could have been saved. But the doctors denied the allegation. Facebook: Case filed over obscene picture Chandigarh: An 18-year-old girl has accused a boy in her neighbourhood for tagging a sexually explicit photograph in her name on Facebook. A resident of Sector 20,Mukesh Nishchal has alleged that the 20-year-old boy in their neighbourhood has uploaded a sexually explicit picture on the social networking site and tagged his daughter in it. The two are Facebook friends and their families are known to each other. The boy has denied the allegation claiming his ID,with which the picture was uploaded,was hacked. A case has been registered. Briefcase stolen from car in Manimajra Chandigarh: A retired colonel has alleged theft of a briefcase from his car in NAC Manimajra on Monday evening. A K Mohan,a resident of Army Flats in Sector 4,Panchkula,reported that he had gone to a showroom in NAC,taking his car which he parked near SCO 836. When he returned,he found a window of the car opened and a briefcase kept inside was missing. A case has been registered.
