Woman's fake profile on porn sites

A young woman became the victim of cyber crime here as her estranged husband allegedly created her fake profiles on several pornographic websites, police said today.

The woman, who resides in a south-east Delhi locality, approached police yesterday and a case under sections 66 A and 67 of Information Technology Act was registered.

She claimed she has been receiving calls from unknown numbers and the callers were making lewd comments.

The husband, with whom she is separated since 2011, was suspected to be the person behind this, she alleged. She claimed she had to separate from him because of dowry harassment.
