Two women were robbed at dagger point and one among them was ‘kidnapped’ by a taxi driver outside AMRI Hospital in Salt Lake at 11.30 am today. According to police, Chandrima Gupta, a student of Hazra Law College hired a cab for Hazra with another friend. When the cab changed route after crossing Bijon Setu in south Kolkata, the girls called for help. The driver stopped the car and attacked the girls with a dagger before snatching their mobile phones and gold ornaments, said police. Chandrima managed to escape and filed a complaint with the police.
