An employee of Taj said the attackers were very abusive and had assaulted some hostages very badly.

A staff of hotel Taj, who was taken hostage by the terrorists during the 26/11 attacks, on Friday told the court that he heard one of the attackers telling his companions to throw grenade and set the hotel on fire.

"'Throw grenades and set the hotel on fire....', these words uttered by a terrorist on the night of November 26 last during terror attacks at hotel Taj are still ringing in my ears," Adil Irani, a steward with the hotel, told the court.

Thirty-one-year-old Adil, who was taken hostage for about four hours by four suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives, said the attackers were very abusive and had assaulted some hostages very badly.

Adil said the terrorist was telling his companions that they must throw hand grenades and torch the hotel at once.

"This frightened me but I kept quiet", he told Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.

On Thursday, a banker had described in the court how he was taken hostage and the way he escaped.

The witness told Judge M L Tahaliyani that a terrorist was talking to somebody on mobile phone and told the person on the other side "Panch murge pakde hain, ek bada murga hai (we have captured five people, one of them is a big man)".

"My mobile which terrorists had kept with them, rang and my wife inquired about me. The terrorist who picked up the cell phone got furious and told her that 'Operation hatao nahin to Tabahi macha denge' (stop the Operation or else we would create havoc)," he said.

Too much of bullshit...By: Roy | 13-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward What the Hindu right wing party supporters understand is that they are superior beings with all others incl the less fortunate of their brethern mere maggots who are living off their charity. Perhaps the next time around sensible Bharitiyas or patriots amongst the priveleged Hindus will come to power
Appeal to All BhartwasisBy: JC Mulla | 12-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward At this crucial juncture we need to give value to right leaders. We should use common sense to understand that Nehru/ Gandhi and the output GANERU clan is not the real hero as media like IE and school books are fed to us since childhood teaches. Our real heros are Raja Bhoj/ Guru Teg Bahadur/Chatrapati Shivajee/ MahaRana Pratap/ Rana Sanga/ Each Indian Defense personnel etc who actually protected us from these Islamic Barbarians and sent them below the ground by killing them. Vote for competent Bhartiyas and not agents of rome and mecca. Bharat Mata Ki Jai

26/11 territorists still ringing.....By: A.A.Choudhari | 12-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward Dear Sir, I do appreciate the comments of Mr.Mulla. It is really a shameful thing as a whole, the submissive toreign policy followed by the Congressite successive governments either with Pakistan, China or Bangladesh. I feel these these self-serving incompetent leaders are the main culprits for this. The English press in our country is always engaged in finding faults with BJP in general and the leaders who really look after the Hindu interests. About Kasab they would be too hesitant to criticize, but they would be on the forefront to write lengthy articles regarding the differences between BJP leaders. They are too happy to criticise Advani or Jaswantsingh for their Jinnah remarks, though these leaders might have upheld secularism of Jinnah. Because Congress wants to treat and the Capitalist Congressites want him to be treated as communal. For Hindu leaders, these hypocrats have made it so difficult to look after the Hindu interests and with divisive policies ultimately serving short-term self interest they have made a mess everywhere. In no other country these. We are fools to re-elect them.
Throw them outBy: LALITH BHANSAL | 12-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward The congress party should be thrown out from our country they are the only one responsible for our country to be in this state even after 62 years of independence.
