NRI rationalists to pay £100,000 to tantrik ‘doctors’ in UK
London: A group of rationalists of Indian origin here has said that it is ready to pay a prize money of £100,000 to any tantrik who can scientifically prove their ability to cure people of any disease or solve any problem. The group had earlier announced £10,000 pounds as a prize to the healers who advertise in newspapers catering to Asian and Afro-Caribbean readers. Indian pulls double-decker bus with hair, sets new record
LONDON: Manjit Singh, a 59-year-old security consultant from Leicester, on Thursday pulled a double-decker bus weighing more than 8 tonnes over a distance of 21.2 metres with his hair. The new record was set in London to coincide with the fifth annual Guinness World Records Day, which prompted thousands of people around the world to set some bizarre benchmarks of their own. In 2007, Singh failed to break the record for the furthest distance to pull a double-decker bus with the ears.
