  • The 24-year-old graduate whose body was found in a Yale University medical building had said nothing about being stalked, the police said on Wednesday after taking DNA and hair samples from a lab technician described as a “person of interest” in the case. Raymond Clark III, 24, was released at 3 am on Wednesday after complying with a search warrant to take the samples, said Joe Avery, a spokesman for the New Haven police.

On Tuesday night, Chief James Lewis of the New Haven police said Clark III was in custody but did not call him a suspect. Clark was held for about five hours in Middletown before being released to his lawyer. Avery also said that there had been no complaints made by Le against Clark before her death.
