Yash Chopra down with dengue, admitted to Lilavati Hospital

Filmmaker Yash Chopra, 80, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Bandra, on Saturday night after a bout of dengue. Chopra was recently seen at the 70th birthday party of actor Amitabh Bachchan at Film City, Goregaon. A statement issued by Chopra's public relations agency said, "Mr Yash Chopra was admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with an attack of dengue. He has been kept under observation. He is feeling much better and should be home soon." Hospital sources also confirmed Chopra's admission. Incidentally, Chopra had announced his retirement from film direction last month.
