  • Initiating the first move towards breaking the political logjam and to bring the dissident leaders gunning for his removal to the negotiating table, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa transferred his Principal Secretary V P Baligar on Friday.

Yeddyurappa is awaiting the BJP high's command nod for dropping some of the ministers, for whom the rebels have been gunning.

They can't take people of Karnataka for a ride.Expel those fellows from BJP party. They can't dictate terms to the Party high Command.Let them face mid term poll on their own without party ticket.
reddys cookBy: Gowda | 06-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward Mr Reddy's cook can be made the principal secretary to Y'appa
Are they MLA sBy: chanakya | 06-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward I doubt whether we can call them MLAs representing voters of respective segments. While the common man is fighting for his survival post flood situation, these people are fighting for the cause of their benefactor. It is rediculous and BJP must show it means business and must disqualify all these MLAs with out any more delay. Post this if by elections are held BJP can easily win these seats again. Kannadigas know whom to trust. But BJP must not betray the common man's belief or other wise it is doomed for ever.
BJP government in KarnatakaBy: shanthanu | 06-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward It would have been better for the Chief Minister to resign along with his supporters instead of bending to the unreasonable demands of Reddy brothers. Is it the mistake of chief Secretary that he has acted as per the constitutional provisions and not at the behest of business tycoons that he has been shunted at the latters demand? What message are you sending to the people who elected you? Are you to compromise the riches of the motherland for the sake of a seat for few years?
