Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has created history by entering the elite Rs 100 crore club in the first week of its release.

The Ranbir Kapoor,Deepika Padukone starrer,which has been creating waves all over India and abroad,is the first movie to have earned Rs 100 crore in its first week itself.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film’s feat.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,produced by Dharma Productions,had a bumper opening last Friday. The movie had managed to collect a whopping Rs 62 crore by Monday (June 3) and it is still running to packed houses.

Though the movie was panned by critics,it has clicked with the audience both young and elders. And Ranbir Kapoor’s charm has spun his magic once again – be it dancing or acting.

Film’s songs Badtameez Dil,Diliwali Girlfriend,Balam Pichkari and Ranbir’s special song ghagra with his teenage crush Madhuri Dixit also played a major part in drawing people to the cinema halls.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,produced by Karan Johar and directed by Ayan Mukherji,also has Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur.
