GPP leader Gordhan Zadaphia has protested against the transfer of DySP V R Toliya, who was a member of SIT for the Ishrat Jahan encounter case, to Gondal in Rajkot district. "I spoke to Chief Electoral Officer Anita Karwal about this and requested her to stop the transfer. I feel this is a case of direct political influence as Toliya is a native of Rajkot and his brother's wife is an elected member of District Panchayat," said Zadaphia.
