Zaheer, Haddin spar on-field

    Heated discussion between Zaheer Khan and Brad Haddin of Australia was seen being resolved by visiting captain Ricky Ponting during the third day's action in the first cricket Test in Bangalore on Saturday.

    Just before rain halted play at the end of 80 overs there was some heated exchange between Zaheer and wicketkeeper Haddin.

    Haddin uttered some words to Zaheer just after the Indian batsman defended a delivery from Mitchell Johnson. Even as Zaheer got wild Hussey pulled Haddin away from the scene. When rain forced the players to leave the field, skipper Ponting was seen doing what looked like some peace talks with Zaheer.
