A city court has issued a search warrant for budding actress Radhika after Ratan Kumar of Kankanady, who says he is her husband, filed a petition alleging that she had been abducted by her father Devraj Shetty.

Radhika is appearing in Ramoji Rao’s Kannada film Ninagagi, to be released in May. The court has issued a search warrant for Radhika and has posted the next hearing for March 21.

Ratan’s lawyer says he and Radhika were ‘lawfully wedded’ in a city temple, and now her father was not allowing her to meet him.

Ratan Kumar says he has made several trips to Bangalore, but her father had not allowed him to meet Radhika, and had forced him to take the matter to the court.

After the court issued a notice, a police team left for Bangalore where Radhika is shooting for her next film Prema Kaidi. Translated, it means ‘prisoner of love’.
