India to bat first in rain reduced match in Canberra
Agencies Posted online: Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 0808 hrs IST Canberra, February 12: Due to a delayed start due to rain, the match was reduced to 29 overs a side. India have the same eleven that beat Australia in Melbourne on Sunday. On the other hand, Sri Lanka made two changes, including Farveez Maharoof and Nuwan Kulasekara in place of opener Upul Tharanga and seamer Ishan Amerasinghe. The three power-plays will be for six, three and two overs respectively. Four bowlers can bowl six overs each while one can bowl five. Teams: India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Capt), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma and S Sreesanth.
