India to bat first in rain reduced match in Canberra

Canberra, February 12:
Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to field in the cricket tri-series one-day international against India at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Tuesday.

Due to a delayed start due to rain, the match was reduced to 29 overs a side.

India have the same eleven that beat Australia in Melbourne on Sunday.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka made two changes, including Farveez Maharoof and Nuwan Kulasekara in place of opener Upul Tharanga and seamer Ishan Amerasinghe.

The three power-plays will be for six, three and two overs respectively. Four bowlers can bowl six overs each while one can bowl five.
