Los Angeles airport evacuated after bomb alert

Los Angeles, March 27:
A terminal at Los Angeles International Airport was temporarily evacuated after luggage scanners detected a toy resembling a grenade, officials said.

Terminal One was evacuated yesterday at 1950 IST for around 40 minutes before security personnel determined the item at the center of the alert was a toy, Los Angeles World Airports official Albert Rodriguez said.
