EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
MUMBAI, May 29: Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde today reiterated that Sahara India will not be permitted to resume work for its multicrore lake city project till the completion of the ongoing inquiry was complete.``There was no question of granting them permission till the inquiry is complete,'' Munde told media persons. Referring to the ultimatum given by Sahara India that it will wait only for 15 days for the government to give clearance, Munde said his government will not succumb to pressure tactics. The Sena-BJP government had, on May 13, directed Sahara India to stop the construction and developmental work at Mulshi village in Pune district as it did not fulfil the conditions laid down in the Letter of Intent. A committee headed by Principal Secretary (Revenue) Ajit Warty was set up to probe into the allegations. The committee has been given two months to complete the probe.
